We suggest Airbnb cottages - Donaldston, PEI is your closest searchable location. Charlottetown, PEI has your nearest hotel and motel locations (15 minute drive from the wedding venue).

Yes! PEI is small enough to explore in a few days by car, but the public transportation system isn't great outside of Charlottetown. Book well in advance or risk disappointment.

PEI has wonderful beaches, golf courses, world class seafood, lighthouses, excellent restaurants, lots of tour opportunities (self guided and guided), museums, culture, art. PEI is known as Canada’s Food Island.

There are direct flights to Charlottetown from most major Canadian cities this seasonally (from June - October). We have flown to Halifax and drove the remaining distance to Charlottetown. This is a 4 hour drive through the Nova Scotia, New Brunswick before arriving in PEI across the Confederation bridge. There are ferry options from Nova Scotia, but this service is not recommended. There have been issues with reliability.
